Bracken began playing music around the age of 8. His mother was his first piano teacher and worked with him before passing him off to other teachers for continues lessons. Mrs. Mayo gave him an introduction to church music and the classics on the piano. Chad is 19 years old and has been playing guitar since he was 11. Led Zeppelin has been one of his greatest influences. He continues to improve his electric guitar skills as well as his acoustic.

Donovan enjoys many diverse musical styles. His enjoyment of music transformed into a passion for playing the guitar. He began his musical studies at the age of 9 with his grandmother, who was 82 at the time. Donovan believes that music is a product of culture and the cultures he has lived in have influenced his musical style as a solo acoustic artist.
